Berkshire 11 Plus
There are six grammar schools in Berkshire and one bilateral school, Reading Girls’ School. Two of the grammar schools are in Reading (Reading Grammar and Kendrick School) and the remaining four are in Slough.
The four schools in Slough – Slough Grammar, Langley, Herschel and St. Bernard’s Catholic Grammar School – operate a consortium for Admissions.
Considerable care must be taken to ensure that all the required forms are submitted in time to meet the various deadlines. In researching this page a number of different dates were found for submitting not only the schools’ own application forms, but also the Common Application Form.

The Schools Admissions Code, that came into effect in 2012, stated that by law, schools must take all reasonable steps to inform parents of the outcome of tests before the closing deadline for the Common Application form (CAF) on October 31st.
